At Red Gate Ranch, our intention is to produce high quality, nutrient dense food for our families and our community. Using regenerative farming practices, we strive to raise our livestock and nurture our garden with a deep reverence for the natural world. Our heritage breed pigs are always on pasture and are supplemented with organic/Non-GMO feed along with scraps from our market garden. The sheep and cattle are 100% grass fed and finished. We use ecological pest management in our garden as well as a low-till method of farming to build our soil and ecology.

Whether you purchase our meats or vegetables, we always encourage you to know your farmer and ask questions about the practices that are important to you. Our pasture raised pork is available by individual USDA cuts at local farmers markets and our farm stand. Details can be found on our How to Purchase page.


We offer seasonal shares of heritage pork, lamb, and grass fed & finished beef. To place your order, please contact Heather at 530-727-8717. Heather will walk you through the process from start to finish including help you arrange pick up or delivery. Delivery is available for some Northern California locations, delivery fees will apply.
